Lunch in Oldtown Winchester

Yesterday my new roommate and I ventured out to old town Winchester for the first time since we moved here a week ago. Winchester has a TON of history and the historic parts are just beautiful. The restaurants and bars are adorable and not bad either! We are on a very very tight budget since we are both starting school next week so we were looking for a great value.

We both decided on a little Italian place called Milano’s across from the Frederick county court-house/ Civil war museum. They had great lunch specials. 3.99 for an eggplant parm sandwich!

We both decided to get salads which were also reasonably priced at 3.50. Amazingly the Caesar salad and the house salad were HUGE. Perfect for a lunch. We sat outside and were able to enjoy the warm VA summer sun as well as some great views of Old town. Here are some pictures:

Milano’s was a great spot for a quick lunch on a tight budget. I’ll be going back there for sure.
